David Williams
To keep up to date with new pieces, check out Face book page Dancing Plates. My name is David Williams, I have been a successful tattooist (david-williams-tattooist.weebly.com) for over 20 years now. After traveling around Asia for six years I have returned to the UK filled with inspiration and ideas, one of which I will be launching at the Bournemouth Tattoo Expo in May 2012. However, some are now available now for you to purchase if you wish. A collection of hand painted ceramic plates, tea pots, Vases, bowls, tea sets, jugs and other ceramics which are all hand painted with lead free ceramic paints in various tattoo styles. The Ceramics are made mostly in England. All styles are painted by hand onto the pieces by myself and not printed in China which is very often the case. Four layers of paint are used on every piece and give a depth and colour rarely achieved in ceramic painting. They are glazed and fired in a Sussex studio and are perfectly safe to eat off of or use, which will do no damage to them what so ever. They are quality durable items, which once painted are glazed and fired. However, they must be hand washed and not machine washed! Hand washing will cause no damage and these will never wear out of fade. The hand painted ceramic pieces are all unique artworks and are available for as little as £15.00 (egg cup) The Vase's range from £75.00 to £200.00. The tea Pots from £50.00 and the plates start around £60.00. There are discounts on sets and multiple purchases. These are unique, one off, beautiful pieces of art that can also be used for fun and will brighten up any table, house, studio, cabinet or wall! Please have a look through my website and if anything catches your eye please contact me and I can tell you if it is available and if not how long it will take to produce the item for you. Selected ceramic pieces have been on show at the Ginger Moo Gallery in Crawley and the Brighton Pavilion Gift Shop. And Curioser and Curioser in Brighton (bespoke Silver Smiths and custom jewelry makers). You can keep up with the latest pieces out of the studio by checking out facebook page dancing plates.
